Pinstripes & Pearls: A Night of Generosity and Impact
On March 21, 2026, the Center for Developmentally Disabled (CDD) welcomed more than 400 guests to Union Station Kansas City for our annual gala, Pinstripes & Pearls. It was an unforgettable evening filled with generosity, celebration, and a shared commitment to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities.
Thanks to the incredible support of our sponsors, donors, guests, and community partners, Pinstripes & Pearls raised an impressive $250,000 to support CDD's mission!
One of the evening's highlights was our Fund-a-Need campaign, which raised more than $72,000 for CDD's Nursing Program. These contributions will help provide essential equipment and resources, including CPR training mannequins, medication cabinets, and enhanced clinical training opportunities. These investments will strengthen the care and support we provide to the individuals we serve every day.
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed dinner, exciting live and silent auctions, games, and an after-party celebration, all while making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.
We extend a special thank-you to our presenting sponsor, Chris Kidwell Construction, along with our generous sponsors, dedicated volunteers, and everyone who helped make the evening a success.
The impact of Pinstripes & Pearls extends far beyond one night. Every dollar raised helps CDD continue providing opportunities, resources, and services that empower individuals with developmental disabilities to live more independent and fulfilling lives.
Thank you for making Pinstripes & Pearls a night to remember!
