Employment Connections is CDD’s supported employment program, helping individuals with developmental disabilities discover their strengths, explore career opportunities, and find meaningful employment in their communities.
We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to work, contribute, earn an income, and experience the independence and confidence that can come with having a job. Our team works alongside each individual to understand their interests, abilities, goals, and support needs—then helps turn those strengths into real employment opportunities.

Finding a job starts with discovering what makes each person unique. Employment Connections helps individuals explore their interests, identify their skills, prepare for employment, and connect with businesses where they can succeed.
Support may include career exploration, résumé development, interview preparation, job searching, applications, workplace readiness, and connecting individuals with potential employers.

Support That Continues on the Job
Getting hired is just the beginning. Our Job Coaches can provide individualized support as someone learns their new position, develops workplace skills, builds relationships with coworkers, and becomes more confident and independent on the job.
As an individual becomes comfortable in their role, support can evolve to match their needs while helping them continue working toward their goals.
